V Breaks Adele and BTS’ Worldwide Record

On July 6, BTS has broken yet another record with “Black Swan” on iTunes, also breaking Adele’s 5-year-old record when she released “Hello”, thanks to their dedicated fanbase, jumping from 97 to 103 countries.

However on May 24, BTS V’s solo song for the drama Itaewon Class “Sweet Night” matched with PSY’s 8-year-old record for “Gangnam Style”, before finally breaking it the very next day and held PSY’s title as the Korean soloist with the most #1 on iTunes in 88 countries.

As of July 8, V’s song has charted to the very top, his song charting #1 in 105 countries! Surpassing his own group BTS’ record. He is now officially the first artist in the world to achieve the most #1’s on iTunes, And their fans have celebrated it that day by trending hashtags on Twitter worldwide. Congratulations V and ARMYs! You guys made history once again:)
